Date details +

Sun. March 24th - Potluck: 12-1:30 pm / Online Presentation from Austin: 1:30-3 pm

Visionary Heights – 1331 Nicholson St, Houston 77008

The whole Shambhala community is joyfully invited to gather together in celebration of our rich lineage and friendship. The Austin vajrayana community of practitioners will be serving a delicious picnic and giving short presentations on different members of our extended Kagyu, Nyingma, and Shambhala lineage family.

During this difficult period for our community, connecting and getting to know not only one another, but also our over 2500-year-old lineage of feminine and masculine wisdom and compassion can help soothe and inspire our hearts and minds. We hope you can join us!

Please bring a food item to share and put that in the comments when you register.

Visionary Heights a non-profit organization whose vision is to empower and inspire the creative arts and music community. They have plenty of space for events and audio visual equipment!  They also have a permanent table in the back of the room with additional information on their non-profit and upcoming events.  There is also a donation bowl for those that would like to make a donation.

There is no parking in front of the building but there is plenty of street parking on W. 13th & W. 14th and on Herkimer & Waverly Streets. If you need to drop off your food item, feel free to park out front and bring it in then move your vehicle.  If you text me (Beth) at 832-589-3467 I can come out and help!
