Decorum, or how we behave, is how we relate to others in a polite society. Decorum is related to a sense of ethics—how we manifest and conduct ourselves. For the warrior, decorum is based on gentleness, which involves overcoming aggression, showing strength, and being kind.

Please join us for a community discussion looking into decorum and a mindful way to connect with others. This is one of the topics in the new book "The Lost Art of Good Conversation" by Sakyong Mipham.  You don't need to have read the chapter before this workshop, all are welcome to join us for conversation and tea.

The workshop will include guided meditation, a talk, and discussion using one of the contemplations from the Sakyong’s book. Open to all, no previous meditation experience needed.

We will have books available if you would like to purchase one or if you would like one in advance email [email protected], check your local bookstore or

We are located at 808 W. Main St. 77006, just off Montrose and Richmond at Bayou Bliss. Everyone is welcome.  There is plenty of street parking available.

Suggested donation: $15 / Books will be available for purchase for $15
