New Location!

“Surrendering does not involve preparing for a soft landing; it means just landing on hard, ordinary ground, on rocky, wild countryside. Once we open ourselves, then we land on what is.”  -Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism,Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche

The Houston Shambhala Meditation Center is moving to a new location! We have bid a heartfelt farewell to our old space and are welcoming in the new space on Sunday, August 3rd. We are very pleased to be co-locating with the Yoga Heart Studio and continuing our practices in the Dharma and Enlightened Society.

Please join us at the new address for our regular schedule of meditation programs: 5959 Westheimer, Suite 210, Houston, TX 77057

Spark your heart and mind through the practice of meditation.

Shambhala Vision is rooted in the principle that every human being has a fundamental nature of basic goodness. This nature can be developed in daily life so that it radiates out to family, friends, community and society.

There is open sitting meditation at HSMC every Thursday 7pm-8pm and first Sunday of the month 9am-12pm for beginners and experienced practitioners. Meditation instruction with a qualified instructor is offered at these times at no charge.
